TRANMERE Rovers' boss Micky Adams has added to the squad by signing striker Jordan Hugill from Preston North End on a month's loan this afternoon.
After impressing in non-league, the 22-year old signed for Port Vale in 2013, scoring five goals in 24 appearances and being named the Valiants’ Young Player of the Year.
He moved to Preston North End last summer and has scored twice in six appearances this season.
During a press conference at Prenton Park this afternoon, Micky Adams said: “I’m delighted to be able to bring Jordan to the Club.
"He's a big, strong lad who will never gives up.
"He's a goalscorer and, with Cole Stockton unavailable, is someone who will add to our attacking options.
"I'd like to thank Preston North End for letting Jordan join us for a month."
