Van flattens Hamilton Square traffic lights
TRAFFIC lights on a busy Birkenhead road were knocked flat after an accident yesterday.
Police were called at 11am by the driver of a white Ford Transit van, saying he had collided with the column at the Hamilton Square/Argyle Street junction.
Wirral Council said the lights will be replaced later today.
