TWO men have been charged following an incident in which a woman was threatened in Noctorum on Wednesday.
Josh Pennington, 21, from Shaw Street in Birkenhead is charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence; violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Liam Jones, 18, of Whetstone Lane, Birkenhead is charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
They are both due to appear before Wirral Magistrates today Friday.
No further action is being taken against a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old female arrested in connection with the incident.
Police were called to Beryl Road, Noctorum, at around 7pm on Wednesday following reports of a woman being threatened by a group of three or four people, believed to be armed with a firearm and machetes.
The group threatened the woman and then walked away threatening to come back.
