POLICE in Wirral are appealing for the public to be cautious after prescription medication was left outside Boots the Chemist on Walton Road in Bromborough.
The incident happened at some time between 6.30pm and 7pm on Monday when a woman had a medical episode outside the shop.
She was taken immediately to hospital by her husband, leaving behind Christmas shopping and prescribed drugs on the pavement.
The lost medication comprises a quantity of Methodone.
Officers are reminding people that taking any medication which hasn’t been prescribe personally for them, can be dangerous and even prove fatal.
Anyone who finds any of the medication should hand it in to a pharmacy, police station or hospital.
