A WIRRAL man has admitted the unlawful killing of a man who was found with serious head injuries in the Tuebrook area of the city.
Joseph Inglesby today pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Robert Higgins but denied robbing him.
The 61-year-old victim was taken to hospital after being found at the junction of Prescot Road and Green Lane on July 30 but he died there two weeks later.
Inglesby, 37, of Poulton Road, Wallasey, was further remanded in custody by Liverpool Crown Court to await his trial beginning on January 26.
