A FORMER Wirral schoolboy has sailed through his Royal Navy training to qualify as a weapon engineer.
Jordan Marsden McArdle, from Wallasey, recently graduated from HMS Collingwood, Fareham, Hampshire after completing his Phase 2 training with Victory Squadron.
The 19-year-old, a keen rugby player, joined the navy in February this year and looks forward to joining his first ship.
Jordan commented on being selected to be part of the Ceremonial Team and his time in the Navy so far.
Looking back he said: "I’ve enjoyed my time here at Collingwood and have to say my career highlight was completing my initial training at HMS Collingwood. I’m looking forward to marching through London at the Remembrance parade and meeting the Queen.
