Dogs Trust Merseyside is appealing for a home for Millie, a seven-year-old Collie with one particular interest in life - her toys.

Millie is so obsessed with her toys that she isn’t content to just have one in her mouth, in fact she will try and fit in as many as possible – she can fit up to six in her mouth at any one time!

Aimee Best, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: “Millie is a real character, and all the staff love her.

"She has a real fascination with her toys and will spend hours collecting and playing with them. She loves having her belly rubbed and going for walks.

"Millie can be a bit nervous, so would need owners who can be around most of the day to help her settle in and grow in confidence. She would also prefer to be the only dog in an adult only home.

"The staff like to keep a close eye on her, as she would definitely try and cheekily steal all the other dogs toys if she got the chance!"

Dogs Trust Merseyside is appealing for donations of toys from the public as they are running low, and they are essential to keep the dogs stimulated as Millie certainly shows.
