A WIRRAL pensioner who went missing from home has been found safe and well.
Police were becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of 77-year-old Betty Evans, from Penkett Road, Wallasey.
She was last seen near the HSBC Bank in Grange Road, West Kirby on Tuesday morning.
A public appeal was launched but Betty has since been found safe and well in Llandudno, North Wales.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Officers would like to thank the public and the media for their help with publicising this appeal."
