Car fire closes Wirral road
A lane was closed on the A553 Hoylake Road due to a car fire and recovery work.
The incident affected traffic heading towards Birkenhead.
Firefighters were called at around 11.30am,
It is thought an electrical fault may have started the blaze. There are no reports of any injuries.
The road has since repoened.
