A TWO-year-old boy has been returned to his mum after he was found alone in a Wirral park.
Merseyside Police was called to Pensby Park on Tuesday after a member of the public found the child alone.
Patrols attended at around 9.05am and looked after the boy while house-to-house enquiries were carried out in the area.
A further call was received from a member of the public a short time later, reporting that her two-year-old son had managed to get out of the house and had gone missing.
Officers spoke to her and made appropriate welfare checks and the boy - who was safe and well - was taken home.
