A 46-year-old man accused of seriously injuring another man with a Samurai sword in Wallasey has appeared in court.
Eric Bromilow has denied inflicting grievous bodily harm to Jozeph Williams with intent on June 14 this year and common assault on Megan Trevitt on the same date.
Bromilow, of Highfield Road, Birkenhead, also denied possessing an offensive weapon, a Samurai sword, during the same incident in Mossy Bank Road, Wallasey.
Mr Williams suffered a fractured skull and cuts to his arm which required surgery.
Bromilow, who appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link, was further remanded in custody to await his trial beginning on January 5.
