Motorists face disruption after fallen power cables close major routes to Wales
WIRRALÂ motorists travelling towards Wales face the prospect of traffic chaos after downed power lines caused the closure of two major routes.
The A494 and A550 have been closed in both directions after electricity power lines came down close to the M56.
North Wales Police tweeted that motorists could expect delays of up to one and a half hours.
Scottish Power are at the scene attempting to fix the problem.
