IT was lights, camera and action outside Hamilton Square in Birkenhead today as filming took place for the new series of Jimmy McGovern's daytime drama series, Moving On.
The series features comprise stand-alone episodes, which are all linked by the theme of how to move on in life.
People turning up for work near the town hall this morning saw the area cordoned off with police, ambulance and bomb disposal teams in attendance.
There was also a wedding car on standby, with cast ready to film.
But the exact details of the episode, made by Liverpool-based LA Productions, have not been revealed.
The new series will be screened in the autumn.
