Simon Tasker is due to appear before Wirral Magistrates later today
Merseyside Police say a man has been charged following an incident on Argyle Street South, Birkenhead, on Tuesday, July 15.
Simon Tasker, aged 27, of Beaconsfield Road, New Ferry, has been charged with assault and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He is due to appear before Wirral Magistrates later today.
