Reminder that several footpaths have been closed in Hoylake ahead of the Open Golf.
Following a consultation with event organisers, Wirral Council has decided to take close the paths until Wednesday, July 23 to allow the tournament to take place.
The pathways affected are the shared use footpath/cycleway from Station Road, Hoylake, to Anglesey Road, West Kirby, which runs alongside the railway line, the footpath from Meols Drive to the Railway, and the footpath from Pinfold Lane to Hoylake beach.
