MOTORISTS are being reminded to expect delays when using the A41 through Bromborough this weekend due to extensive road resurfacing works.

The work is part of an ongoing traffic signal improvement scheme being carried out by Wirral Council at the A41 and its junction with Bolton Road, Port Sunlight.

Temporary traffic management restrictions will be in place, including some road closures and temporary traffic light operations.

From 6.30pm today, Friday, until 11pm on Sunday:

Two-way traffic lights on A41 / Bolton Road roundabout; Temporary closure of A41 Rock Ferry / New Ferry Bypass for its entire length; Temporary closure of Bolton Road, Port Sunlight, from its junction with New Chester Road to its junction with Corniche Road; No right turn from Bolton Road East onto New Chester Road

Alternative routes will be signed.

Wirral Council has contingencies in place to ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum while work progresses, and would like to thank the public for its patience.
