A Wallasey man has denied three offences of making bomb hoax phone calls.
Kevin Murphy pleaded not guilty to making 999 calls on three occasions falsely claiming a bomb had been planted.
Liverpool Crown Court heard on Wednesday that two of the calls related to the Claireville pub in Birkenhead on August 2 and October 3 last year, and the other claimed a bomb had been hidden in Birkenhead Market on September 13.
Murphy, 60, was further remanded on bail to await his trial beginning on September 8.
