THREE of Wirral's most hardworking apprentices have been shortlisted for the prestigious Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Awards.
Competing for the title of Wirral Apprentice Of The Year are Sam Hankin of Cammell Laird, who studies at Maritime Engineering College North West; Rebecca Hulse of McEwan Wallace LTD who studies at BPP; and Aaron Oliver Jones of Addicted to Glamour who studies at Mode Training.
They will find out who has won on June 20, alongside Apprentice of the Year winners from the five other Merseyside boroughs.
Coinciding with the International Festival for Business, the second Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Awards will take place in an exquisite marquee situated in Lord Derby’s estate in Knowsley.
Greater Merseyside Learning Providers Federation is the main sponsor of the event for the second year running.
Its chair Debbie Tagoe said: “The awards are a very important event for our region as they bring the local community together and allow us to celebrate the hardworking, high achieving individuals in our area.
“The awards, which are driven by local providers and employers, also recognise the dedicated employers who train our region’s talented apprentices.”
