A lorry collided with five parked cars this morning in New Ferry.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called out to New Chester Road just before 5am.

The driver was out of the lorry when crews arrived.

Firefighters made the vehicles safe.

A fire appliance from Bromborough Community Fire Station was called out and was there for around 15 minutes.
