FANS of children's favourites Bob The Builder and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion had a chance to meet the shows' creators during an event at a Wirral Library.

Writer Curtis Jobling was joined by illustrator Tom McLaughlin at Bebington Children's Library to meet children from two local primary schools.

The pair worked together on the new picture book Old MacDonald Had A Zoo.

As well as reading their new book to an audience made up of children from St Andrew's and Church Drive primary schools, the pair read extracts of other books they have worked on, and signed copies of their work.

Children were also treated to an exhibition of their cartoons and illustrations and a live illustration session.
