GUITAR legend Peter Hook will headline a weekend of music as part of this year’s Wirral Farm Feast food and drink festival.

The Manchester-born member of Joy Division and New Order will be joined by current band The Light and supported by Liverpool band Stealing Shee Livestock during the Livestock event at Claremount Farm in Clatterbridge on Sunday, May 25 from 7-11pm.

It is part of Farm Feast – a weekend of food and drink, music and farming fun taking over the farm from May 25-26.

Set in the idyllic rolling fields of Claremont Farm, Farm Feast boasts a wide range of family friendly activities and events suitable for all ages, from mouth-watering demonstrations to live music from established and new local artists.

The festival was launched during a special event in Liverpool.

Guests were treated to a preview of the festivities to come, with a live performance from the Acoustic Milkfloat and DJ set from Liverpool infamous Jonny Bongo.

Guests were also treated to cider and delicious canapés made from local ingredients, and were the first to hear an exclusive line up announcement for the festival’s evening Livestock music event.

The site will include all the best food traders from Farm Feast’s International Street Food Court, a fantastic cocktail bar and a Beer & Cider Festival tent.

Tickets are currently available at a £10 early bird price. Livestock, like Farm Feast, is open to all ages but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
