Wirral train services returning to normal after vandalism incident
Merseyrail says train services running through Birkenhead North are returning to normal after vandalism caused disruption earlier, but some services may still be cancelled or delayed at short notice.
Minor disruption on the West Kirby and New Brighton lines is expected until 9am.
Replacement bus services have now been withdrawn.
