A MIGRAINE sufferer from Wirral will have her head shaved for a charity that has helped her cope with the condition for 30 years.

She now experiences migraines or daily headaches on more than 20 days a month which has a severe impact on her quality of life.

Suzy says: "I suffer from quite bad dizzy spells and fainting due to my migraines and some days I can't get out of bed because of the pain."

Migraine Action giving information and advice to sufferers and their families and also supports specialist headache clinics and research into the condition.

Suzy adds: "I really like what Migraine Action has done to support sufferers like myself and I wanted to give something back.

"I thought that shaving my head would be a great way to attract attention to this misunderstood condition of the brain and hopefully raise lots of money for a worthwhile charity."

Beforehand will also be undertaking a 5K walk from Seacombe to New Brighton on Saturday, March 29.

Suzy, who is also blind, will be walking without the use of her cane and will be accompanied by friends to raise extra funds.
