WIRRAL South constituency committee is inviting people to bid for a share of £50,000 to fund health and wellbeing projects.
The cash has been made available through Wirral South Health and Wellbeing Fund and bids up to a value of £3,000 are invited for projects aimed at increasing the healthy life expectancy of local residents.
The funding exercise was approved at a meeting of Wirral South constituency committee.
Chairman Cllr Phil Gilchrist, said: "The committee was very keen to reach out to all sectors of the community and secure the highest possible public interest.
" We wanted as many people as possible from as many communities as possible to benefit from this fund."
Applications open on March 31 and close Tuesday, May 6.
