HOYLAKE and West Kirby Theatre Group have secured the rights for adults to perform the full version of smash-hit musical Grease.

For many years the show has been restricted to and performed by youth groups and schools across the region, but HAWK has secured the rights for adults to perform the full show in Wirral.

It will be staged at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, in September.

Open auditions for anyone aged 16 and over interested will be held at The Parade Community Centre in Hoylake on Monday April 7 and Wednesday, April 9 at 7.30pm.

There will be an informal get-together and workshop on Monday, March 31 at 7.30pm to give everyone a chance to pick up audition pieces and meet the production team.

The group is looking for strong singers / actors and dancers and is particularly keen to recruit males for the 'T Birds'.
