Hundreds of Oxton householders were left without electricity on Tuesday morning.
Scottish Power said around 400 homes were affected by the outage, caused by problems at a sub-station in Price's Lane.
Engineers were called to the site at around 8am and the fault was repaired just over an hour later.
A spokesman for the energy firm apologised for the fault.
