DETECTIVES are hunting for a middle-aged man following a spate of indecent exposures involving schoolgirls and young women in Tranmere.

Police have released an E-fit of a man they are keen to trace in connection with six incidents, which they believe to be linked.

Three of the incidents took place on January 14 between 5pm and 6pm in the Bebington Road area.

Two of them involved teenage girls who were walking home from school while the third happened as a woman walked along the road.

Police have seen been made aware of a further three incidents which took place on March 6.

The first took place at around 11.55am on Bebington Road, the second on Willowbank Road at around 3.40pm and the final incident took place on Broadway, Bebington.

Detectives believe the incidents – which all involved teenage girls and women – are linked and are now hoping to trace a man described as being aged 50 to 60, around 5ft 7in, of chubby build and wearing glasses.

CCTV from the area is being sought and police are working with school officers in the area to ensure safety advice is being given to pupils.

Anyone with information about these incidents or anyone who recognises the E-fit of the man should call detectives on 0151 777 2263 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
