Wirral Globe: Esther McVey given special responsibility for North West floods recovery Esther McVey given special responsibility for North West floods recovery

WIRRAL West MP Esther McVey has been given special responsibility for flood recovery for the North West region.

The role will include talking to businesses and communities to understand how local flood response and recovery processes have been carried out.

She is also tasked with exploring practical steps proposed to reduce the risk of damaging floods next winter and assessing the effectiveness of multi-agency working at local level.

Exploring where this winter’s severe weather has exposed new or existing weaknesses in local flood defences and resilience, and how these weaknesses might be remedied in the future.

Ms McVey said: “Following the tidal surge in Wirral in early December, I have already met with the council’s chief executive and his health safety and resilience team.

“I will continue to work with them, and now other North West local authorities and agencies to try to bring together a joined up approach to tackling the flooding issues.”

The Prime Minister, David Cameron, has asked Ms McVey to keep him appraised of progress prior to presenting her views to the Flooding Cabinet Committee later in the spring.

Ester McVey along with her boss IDS are both criminals in that both are in breach of the Human Rights Law and on top of that have presided over genocide in our country, inflicted upon the sick (passed fit for work), disabled (also passed fit for work) and the unemployed (sanctioned, bedroom tax etc).

They both pass these of as benefit cuts due to the bogus austerity claim (funny how tax cuts can be made when we have no money), use Atos to do medicals under how they want them conducted at the DWP but allow them to take the blame when it is Government policy.

Quite how she has been given this honour is beyond belief, but then they seem for now to be above the law, they may even believe they are right but starving people and making them homeless is wrong, passing sick, dying and disabled people fit for work is in itself just plain SICK.

With regards to the floods, if she deals with it how she dealt with the disabled and now unemployed then don't expect any help whatsoever, just spin and excuses.

Sorry readers should read 'Ester McVey along with her boss IDS are both criminals in that both are in breach of the Human Rights Law and we have witnessed many deaths due to these cuts, (followed by inflicted upon the sick etc).

Should not have used the word genocide wrong use of words, I don't think Ester or IDS would really wish for the deaths of people, but I do feel they are breaching the Human Rights Act by starving the own people and also the sudden need with the rise of food banks and by allowing this to happen is in my opinion criminal.

It is Government's job to look after the weak not to attack them, perhaps both will realise this, I don't believe they are bad people just very misguided in what they both do; we all make mistakes and hopefully both will realise this and hopefully do the right thing rather than the wrong.

As for me I too have made a mistake and apologise for the use of the word genocide, as mentioned wrong use of words sorry for any distress caused.
