A BUDDING Wirral performer will sing solo in front of thousands at Wembley Arena after winning a place in a national schools' choir.

Annalise Hanlon, from Beechwood, passed the auditions to become part of the 'Voice In A Million' stage choir and will perform in front of more than 10,000 people during its concert on Wednesday, March 12.

No stranger to showbusiness, the eight-year-old, who attends Manor Primary School in Beechwood has been in quite a few talent shows.

She is also a member of former Brookside star Jennifer Ellison’s Fame Academy and has performed solos for various audiences at St.Georges Hall in Liverpool.

Looking forward to Annalise's role in the March 12 show, proud mum Katie said: "She just loves performing for people and has a unique amazing power voice.

"Hopefully all of this can be the very start of something special for this very talented little lady, especially in this current climate we live in.

"Annalise is so brave for what she is going to do. It's a massive achievement for an eight-year-old."

Annalise's singing teacher is Heswall-based actress Emma Nowell, a presenter on Children's TV show HI-5, who appeared in Jack & The Beanstalk alongside '80s singer Sonia and former Holby star Mark Moraghan at the Floral Pavilion in December.

Praising Emma's role in her daughter’s success, Katie said: "None of this could be done without all her efforts of taking Annalise under her wings and putting so much time and effort into teaching her.

"Annalise has been a member of 'Trust Dance', a dance troupe on the Beechwood Estate since she was three years old.

"They've also put so much belief into her and they deserve a big thank you to Sasha , Barbara and Stacey."
