Officers were called to KFC on St Paul’s Road at about 1am on Monday following a report that three men armed with what is believed to be a knife and a hammer entered the shop and threatened staff.

”I know the local community will be as appalled as I am at this incident and I am determined to bring those responsible to justice.
”We take cases such as this extremely seriously.
