Merseyside Police are appealing for  help in tracing a teenage girl who went missing from home in Stockport in Cheshire last week.

Emma Nolan, aged 16, is known to frequent Wirral and was last seen Tuesday, February 18,  at around 9pm, when she was reported missing from her home.

Inquiries have been undertaken by Greater Manchester Police and Merseyside Police to locate her.

Police say that although Emma has not been seen,  they are aware she had spoken with people she knows last Friday, February 28.

Emma is 5ft 4in, of slim build with long, straight, dyed black hair. She has blue eyes, a fair complexion and was last seen wearing a onesie outfit with black and red hearts on and a dark duffle coat.

Officers are urging Emma or anyone who has seen her to contact Merseyside police on 101 and quote log 0883 of 28.2.14, or call the missing persons bureau on 11600.
