THOUSANDS of pounds worth of jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Bebington.
Detectives are appealing for information after thieves targeted a house on Benty Close some time between 7.15pm and 10pm on Saturday, February 15, while the owner was out.
A number of rings with an estimated value of £3,000 to £4,000 each, along with other items of jewellery and cash were stolen.
Crime scene investigators have carried out examinations at the house and officers are now appealing to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
