A WIRRAL church is to run courses to help people become savvy with their cash as households across the borough feel an income squeeze.
St Mary's Church, Eastham is one of 1,138 across the country running a money course following training from the debt counselling charity, Christians Against Poverty.
Coach and member of the congregation, Ken London, said: "This is a great time to take a fresh look at your financial situation and make a plan for the months ahead.
"Lots of people are keen to manage their money and this course is a really effective place to start."
It is designed for anyone whether unemployed, receiving benefits, working, self-employed, retired, newly married or recently divorced.
Ken continued "Even if you went a bit overboard at Christmas and still have problems, it's not too late to do something now about your financial situation."
The first three-week course, takes place at The Net@68 in Clifton Avenue, Eastham on Tuesday, February 25, starting at 7pm.
More details are from www.capmoneycourse.org and to book your place on the course telephone Ken on 07810 641320
