POLICE are urging the public to he cautious after prescription medicine was lost in Bromborough today, Tuesday.
The medication - which was lost in York Street at around 12.15pm - consists of a 100ml bottle of liquid diazepam and one 1mg tablet of lorazepham.
The drugs are in a red bag, described as a "money pouch", with a security tag fitted.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
Officers are warning people that taking medication which hasn't been prescribed for them can be dangerous and can even prove fatal.
Anyone finding the drugs should hand them in to any pharmacy, police station or call police via the non-emergency 101 number.
