TRANMERE Rovers' boss Ronnie Moore is expecting his squad to repeat the performance that earned a victory over MK Dons when they face Preston North End at Prenton Park this Saturday.

Rovers won 1-0 at stadiummk last Saturday and Moore is hoping for back to back victories.

Preston North End, fourth on the League One table with 52 points, were beaten 2-0 at home by Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

Tomorrow's match, kick off 3pm, will be the 24th league meeting between the two clubs.

Rovers have six wins, the most recent being a 2-1 victory in March 2012 thanks to goals from Enoch Showunmi and Andy Robinson.

Earlier this season the sides drew 1-1 at Deepdale. Last season's game at Prenton Park finished the same score.

Looking ahead to tomorrow's game Moore said in an interview on the club's website: "They're a massive club. I watched their game last night and they were so unlucky not to have got something out of it.

"They were the better side and penned them in in the second half, I was praying for extra time!

"I think that's the third game they've lost since October which shows how consisent they are.

"Everybody is fit which is great for me. It gives you a headache...we were trying to get substitutes not too long ago but now they all want to play, even more so after Saturday's result.

"It's vital that we don't throw it away. The same commitment, determination and effort then anything can happen.

"They've got a lot of promising players, experienced players and pace, but so have we. They'll bring a few down here and there will be a nice atmosphere."
