POLICE investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a house in New Ferry say they are not treating it as suspicious.
Officers were called to an address on Longfellow Drive by the ambulance service on Sunday night, following a report of concern for safety.
On arrival they found the body of a 36-year-old woman inside the property.
The woman has been identified and next of kin have been informed.
Her identity has not been disclosed by the authorities.
A post mortem examination has taken place and the file passed on to the coroner.
