FIREFIGHTERS helped paramedics free a woman from a van following a two-vehicle in collision in Rock Ferry this morning.
Emergencey services were called to Bedford Avenue at around 9am. It is thought the collision involved a small van and lorry.
The 30-year-old woman was carried on a long board to a waiting ambulance and taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Crews from Birkenhead and Bromborough fire station along with the Search and Rescue Team attended the call-out.
Firefighters had left the scene by 11.32am.
