SIX people have been taken to hospital following a three car smash in Tranmere.
Firefighters and police were called to the junction of Prenton Road East and Greenway Road after reports that a green Volvo V70, grey silver Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Kia Sedona had been involved in a collision shortly before 8.50am this morning.
A 30-year-old woman, a girl and a boy – who were in the Corsa – were taken to Arrowe Park Hospital by ambulance with suspected minor injuries.
A 39-year-old woman and a boy - who were in the Volvo - were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Two women, a 41-year-old and a 22-year-old – who were in the Kia – are not believed to have been injured in the crash, while a 21-year-old woman, who was also in the Kia, was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital suffering suspected back pain.
