NHS Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group has launched its new-look website to inform patients of the latest health developments.
The website aims to keep people up to date on health news and events and provide information on accessing local health services.
It also gives access to a health encyclopaedia as well as giving information on the commissioning group itself including its latest plans for buying local health services and information about its governing body, including an events calendar of future meetings and events.
Dr Abhi Mantgani, chief clinical officer for NHS Wirral CCG, said: “The improved website will hopefully make it easier to people to find out what we do and how they can influence future health services on the Wirral.”
“It is an easy way to find out about new developments locally and to hear about up and coming health events that may be of interest.”
The site’s front page contains a twitter feed to keep people up to date on the CCGs latest tweets as well as other health tweets of public interest.
