Police have released this e-fit image of a woman suspected of committing a street robbery in Birkenhead against another woman.
The victim had got off a bus on Argyle Street and was on her way home when she was approached by the attacker at the junction of Conway Street and Hamilton Street.
The 36-year-old was asked for money. When said she did not have any, she was threatened with a small knife and told to hand over cash.
The victim gave a small amount of change to the robber who then ran off along Hamilton Street.
The incident happened at around 9pm, on Monday, November 25; several people are believed to have been outside St Marks House at the time and possibly witnessed it.
The victim was left shaken but unhurt.
She described her attacker as black, in her late 20s, 5ft 3ins tall with black hair worn in a bun.
She was wearing light blue denim jeans, a dark, padded bubble jacket and spoke with a southern accent.
Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the woman in the e-fit to contact them on 0151 777 2264 or leave information anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
