TRANMERE Rovers striker Ryan Lowe has been named Sky Bet League One's Player of the Month for November.

Lowe bagged five league goals in the month, including a hat-trick at Coventry City in an emphatic 5-1 win for Rovers.

He ended the month by scoring a brace in a 2-1 win against Colchester United.

Talking to the club's website Tranmere Player, manager Ronnie Moore said: "Ryan has had a fantastic month and scored some great goals so he deserves this award.

"He didn’t have a lot of service early in the season but we’re getting the ball in the box more for him now and he is showing what a good striker he is.

"If he carries on like this he’ll get to twenty goals this season."

Sky Sports’ Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "Ryan has been a revelation for Tranmere this season.

"At 35, he is playing like a man half his age and is rolling back the years to propel Rovers up Sky Bet League 1."

Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins said: "Ryan Lowe has been in scintillating scoring form for Tranmere in November.

"This included a hat trick at Coventry which helped Tranmere climb out of the relegation zone.

"With 11 league goals already this year he has matched his tally for MK Dons last season and will be looking to break the magic 20-goal barrier."

The Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award went to Leeds United striker Ross McCormack.

In Sky Bet League 2, Dagenham & Redbridge striker Zavon Hines was named Sky Bet Player of the Month.
