TRANMERE Rovers' striker Ryan Lowe has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for November.

He is one of four players nominated, with the winner set to be announced on Friday morning.

Lowe was nominated for a stunning hat-trick in 5-1 win at Coventry City - a clinical finish, a deft chip and a 30-yard from the touchline. Also scored both goals against Colchester United which made it five in November.

Also on the shortlist is Shrewsbury Town full-back Joe Jacobson. The Welsh defender scored a screamer in the 2-0 victory over Sheffield United and a header in the win at Stevenage to add to typically solid displays at the back as Shrewsbury picked up nine points.

There's a second nomination this season for Leyton Orient striker David Mooney. A whose variety of goals – four in November - make him difficult to stop. Two fine finishes at Peterborough United and a beautifully clipped equaliser at Swindon Town secured vital victories.

Also in contention is Preston North End striker Joe Garner. He scored all five of his team’s goals in the four games he played in November, including a wonderfully controlled hooked winner at Leyton Orient, two headers and an unstoppable 20-yarder in the 2-0 victory at Port Vale.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins.
