Wirral man pleads guilty to indecent images charge
A WIRRAL man has pleaded guilty to the possession of indecent images of children.
George Thompson, of Hilbre Court, West Kirby, is charged in relation to images that range from level one to level four (level five being the most extreme).
He faces 12 counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child, and four counts of possessing indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child.
The 79-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences, which were committed between December 24, 2011 and October 25, 2012, at Wirral Magistrates Court today, Wednesday.
Thompson was given conditional bail to appear at the Crown Court for sentencing on January 3.
