Police are appealing for information following the theft of two HGV concrete mixers in Wallasey.

Officers are investigating the incident which happened at a secure yard on the Dock Road, overnight on Monday, October 21.

Both vehicles are navy blue and one has an orange band around the drum. The mixers' registration numbers are GN06 NYG and PN06 HXT.

Detectives are currently checking CCTV images from the area.

Detective Inspector Mark Tivendale, said: "The two vehicles were taken from a locked yard and we are appealing to anyone with any information about the incident to call us so we can find the vehicles and take action against the offenders.

"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicles around the time of the offence or since and ask that they call us with any information they may have."
