UPDATED: Man arrested on suspicion of indecent assault following incident in Bidston
POLICE have arrested a 45-year-old man from Chester on suspicion of indecent assault following an incident in Bidston on Thursday.
He has been taken to a police station on Merseyside for questioning.
On Thursday, at around 3.50pm, a teenaged girl was walking home from school along School Lane, when she was subjected to an indecent assault in an alleyway between School Lane and Keele Close.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information to get in contact with Birkenhead CID on 0151 777 2265 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
