A Wirral man has admitted indecency offences involving about 4,000 indecent images.
Joseph Ollman pleaded guilty to 15 offences and was further remanded on bail to await sentence on November 15.
42-year-old Ollman, of Peter Street, Wallasey, admitted 14 offences involving downloading indecent photographs and videos of children between June 2007 and December 16, 2011.
Appearing before High Court judge Mr Justice Holroyde, QC, at Liverpool Crown Court, the final charge he admitted was possessing a total of 3,832 indecent images of children between the same dates.
The judge warned Ollman, who has no previous convictions, that all sentencing options will be open when he returns, including custody.
He ordered him to sign on the Sexual Offenders Register.
