Wirral man accused of historic sex offences appears in Crown Court
A 61-year-old Wirral man accused of a string of historic sex offences involving two young girls appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today.
Paul Cleary, of Wood Lane, Greasby, pleaded not guilty to 16 offences of indecent assault and indecency with a girl between February 1979 and February 1982 when she was aged between four and seven.
He also denied six similar offences involving another girl when she was aged six and seven, between October 1978 and October 19080.
Judge David Aubrey, QC, further remanded him on bail to await his trial beginning on December 2.
