ENTRIES are now being taken for this year's Chester Marathon.
Proceeds from the Sunday October 6 event will be split between Cancer Research UK, North West Air Ambulance, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and CLIC Sargent.
A record 5,000 runners are expected to take to take part.
Andy White, Joint Organiser of the MBNA Chester Marathon said: "It's fantastic to have such a diverse range of charities on board for the 2013 race.
"We hope that runners and supporters will join us in backing them to make this year the best to date for charity funds raised".
