A WELDER who ran 52 miles in six days has raised £2700 for Wirral Hospice St John's.
Richie Raynor from Higher Bebington began his running Tour of Merseyside with a 13-mile Southport Half Marathon on July 7.
It continued the following day with the Thurstaston Multi Terrain, covering a distance of six miles.
On July 9, he took part in the Walton Hall Park Trail, which is 10 miles. Two days later, he joined hundreds taking part in the five-mile Halton Road Race.
The six-mile Knowsley Cross Country took place on Friday July 12.
His fundraising trek came to an end with the 12-mile Wirral Coastal Run the following day.
Richie, 58, works for Birkenhead-based engineering firm J&M Profile. He was inspired to raise funds for the hospice after completing the Chester Half Marathon in May.
He is hoping Globe readers will help him reach his £3000 target. To support Richie, visit www.justgiving.com/richard-raynor
