A WIRRAL driver was taken to hospital this morning after his car overturned.
Police closed the New Ferry By-Pass heading southbound following the incident at 8.05am which involved a black BMW.
The man was conscious at the scene but was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The road remains closed off and Wirral Council are expected to repair a street sign which was damaged shortly.
Yesterday morning, firefighters were called out to a two-car crash on Bebington Road.
A 60-year-old woman and two men, aged 52 and 66, were treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
